Volume Profile
The Profile indicator enables the traders to overlay a price-based profile over a multi-pane intraday chart. The Profile provides a “Price/Row” preference which dictates the height of each row. The width of each resulting row will represent how many bars during the session in which that row’s price range was touched.
Volume Breakdown
The Volume Breakdown is a powerful and flexible indicator used to gauge buying and selling pressure. It looks inside each bar, breaking down and classifying each tick and then accumulating the results (accumulation is optional), and further giving the user a variety of statistical measures (including all built-in technical indicators) to apply the these results. The most common use of the VB indicator is to calculate the delta (difference between the buy (ask-traded) and sell (bid-traded) volume) of each bar.
TPO Indicator
The TPO Indicator computes and displays historical values for TPO Profile price levels: POC, Value Area High (VAH), Value Area Low (VAH), developing POC, VAH, and VAL. It enables review these values historically to see see how price reacted when approaching these levels.
Session Statistics
The Session Statistics Indicator computes historical statistics for an instrument or an indicator. The The Session Statistics preferences use the general format: [Statistic] of [Price] of the [First/Last] X [Minutes/Bars] of the Session.
Multiple Periodicities
Periodicity is defined as the character of being periodic; the tendency to recur at regular intervals. Applied to market data analysis and Investor/RT in particular, the periodicity of a chart relates to the manner by which the periodic intervals of market data are determined. All the trading within an interval is defined as a bar, each bar having an open price, high, low, close and volume of trading during the interval.
RTL
RTL is the Investor/RT Language, a formula language for composing trading signals, custom indicators, and scans. RTL is an end user language, designed to be used by those with little or no programming skills.
